Après une brève lecture de http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/wiki/, j'ai
l'impression que Telepathy ne se situe pas au même niveau que Gaim ou
Kopete: «The Telepathy project aims to provide a unified framework for
all forms of real time conversations, including instant messaging, IRC,
voice calls and video calls.»

Cette plateforme est utilisable au travers de plusieurs clients:

      Gossip: a Gnome IM client. SVN trunk contains support for
telepathy as backend. (SVN repository)

      Landell: a GNOME Instant Messenger build using C# and Telepathy
(though Tapioca#)

      Cohoba: a Python based UI for GNOME desktops by Raphaël Slinckx

      GnomeUI: a C#/Mono based UI for GNOME desktops by Adam Lofts
